As the UK is now in a second lockdown, Go Parks want to offer Coventry residents the opportunity to stay active and win some great prizes.

Go Parks free giveaway: Just scan the QR code at your local park to enter.

Go Parks is running a free-to-enter prize giveaway that closes on Monday 14 December, covering the duration of the lockdown period.

The Go Parks Giveaway can be entered during a visit to your local park.

Simply look out for a Go Parks banner or poster in noticeboards, scan the QR code, and complete the form.

Banners and posters can be found in a minimum of 18 parks, with each ward in the city covered. Participating parks include the War Memorial Park, Allesley Park and Stoke Heath Sports Ground.

The Go Parks prizes up for grabs will be revealed soon but expect to see some popular physical activity gadgets and vouchers.

Cllr Kamran Caan, Cabinet Member for Public Health and Sport, said: “The Go Parks Giveaway is great for the whole city and assists in targeting all communities to stay active, safely. It’s a brilliant opportunity for Coventry residents to get involved in and the prizes are not to be missed.

“It is more important than ever to keep moving for the benefit of both our mental and physical health during this difficult time. The Go Parks Giveaway looks after both. It will see people walking in their local greenspaces and looking after their health, while providing a little excitement along the way.

“Go Parks is offering prizes that will help keep residents moving, but in order to enter, people have to physically get moving which is an excellent incentive. I really look forward to seeing how many people enter the giveaway.”

Please adhere to government guidelines while visiting and exercising in parks.

One entry per person. Entries close at 11.59pm on 14 December 2020.
