The Council website is changing and we need your views.
The update will help us create a friendlier, more accessible homepage, with a clear and attractive design and easy to follow guidance.
It is the ‘front page’ of the website and we want it to be informative and welcoming – and we need your help.
Tell us what you use the website for and what’s important to you. Tell us what stops you from using the current site and what you feel should be on the homepage.
The survey is available now on the Let’s Talk website and only takes a few minutes to complete.
A part of the survey also asks for volunteers to form a virtual focus group to test design and layouts for the website.
Cllr Gavin Lloyd, Deputy Cabinet Member for Information Technology, said: “We have all been online a lot in the past year, with more and more people using the internet for shopping, banking and lots of other everyday jobs.
“We want to make it as easy as possible for people to carry out their business with the Council online, whether that is paying their Council Tax, finding out about events at their local library, or contacting their ward councillor.
“In giving your views through the survey you will be helping to make sure everyone can easily get the help and support they need, so please take part, and join myself and colleagues in shaping our online world in the focus group."
