Foleshill Library are inviting visitors into the space for an exhibition of handmade jewellery created by participants of the Broad Street Wellness Junction Group.

The jewellery, inspired by family, heritage and history, will be on display for free until 12 March 2022.

To celebrate the Formed in Foleshill exhibition, Foleshill Library is hosting a jewellery-making event on the 11 of March from 4-6pm. At the event people will create their own unique piece of jewellery and enjoy a special screening of the Formed in Foleshill oral history film.

Formed in Foleshill is part of a project by Coventry Libraries Service, in partnership with digital support agency The Space, to develop a digital culture programme called Digital Spaces.

Craftspace were commissioned to work with Broad Street Wellness Junction to create resources for their own digital content and help shape cultural provision in the city’s libraries. The project has been supported by staff at Foleshill Library, members of Shelanu Women’s Craft Collective led the creative sessions where participants made jewellery inspired by their cultural background and/or family history.
