A special recital by the Ukrainian Verkhovjna Male Voice Choir will be taking place at Coventry Cathedral on Monday 18 April at 2pm to raise funds for Ukraine.

At the suggestion of Coventry's Lord Mayor, Cllr John McNicholas, the free recital will take place for 45 minutes and features a moving programme of Ukrainian songs. They will be joined by aspiring professional Russian violinist Kseniia Kalugina, who was born in Russia in is keen to support the humanitarian appeal to help support the suffering people of Ukraine.

All proceeds from donations given at the Cathedral during this special fundraising event will go towards the Ukraine Emergency Appeal.

No tickets are required, and more information about the music being performed will be uploaded to the Cathedral website.
