Residents can now leave messages in memory of Cllr John Mutton in remembrance books at the Council House and Willenhall Library.
Cllr Mutton, a councillor for 38 years and a former Leader and Lord Mayor, passed away on Sunday.
He leaves behind his wife and fellow councillor Mal, two sons, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The flag outside the Council was flown at half-mast this week in his memory, and there was also a silent tribute at yesterday's AGM of the Council at the Cathedral.
Now two books of remembrance have been made available – at the reception areas in Willenhall Library and the Council House – for members of the public to sign and leave messages and their own personal tributes.
The books will be passed on to Cllr Mutton's family.
