Parents across Coventry are being urged to sign up for a new online parenting course – they’re fun, free and will help with tips and advice on raising a child.

A range of courses has now been launched by the Council.

They have been designed by the NHS and are part of the Solihull Approach programme which supports parents and carers to build positive relationships with their infants and children.

So why not take a look at the website and have a go? The access code for all Coventry residents is SPIRES3 (this is not case sensitive).

You could learn how to understand your new-born baby or your teenager’s brain. You could learn more about your pregnancy, your relationships and much more.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent or carer, you can build your confidence.

The courses are already used in areas around the country, including in neighbouring Warwickshire, and they are now all free for Coventry residents.

All of the courses can be completed flexibly, at your own pace. Each of the course modules takes around 15 to 20 minutes to complete, and each course contains several modules.

You can also access more information through your local Family Hub, library, or from schools across the city.
