World Book Day - 4 March 2021

World Book Day book token

4 March 2021 is World Book Day and we have £1 book tokens to give away.  Families can pick up their tokens (one for each child) and/or a children’s book bundle of library books to borrow from Central Library.  To do this you need to make a click and collect appointment by ringing 024 7683 2314 or by going to www.coventry.gov.uk/libraries

£1 books are currently available from supermarkets and some local booksellers e.g. WHSmith.
World Book Day £1 books are a gift from booksellers, who fully fund the cost of the £1 book token redemptions. Bookshops are offering new ways to make the £1 books available, and bookshops will welcome families when they open again (the tokens will be honoured beyond 28 March – while stocks last)

Once libraries begin to open again, we will make the tokens available in local libraries.

There are some fantastic £1 books by a range of brilliant authors on offer during World Book Day this year.
