Celebrating world-leading transport innovation
Our Future Moves was a year long series of community engagement and demonstrations of innovative technology designed to showcase Coventry, Warwickshire and the West Midlands' world-beating contributions to transport innovation, recognising the region's drive to remain at the forefront of decarbonising the economy.
Our Future Moves began on 17 July 2021, with the launch of the Our Future Moves exhibition at the Coventry Transport Museum. The exhibition told the story of how our city and the wider region has contributed to transport innovation has the potential to transform people's lives by enabling new levels of physical, digital and social connectivity, and shaping the future of cities across the globe.

The Our Future Moves exhibition
The interactive and ambitious Our Future Moves exhibition told the story of Coventry, Warwickshire and the West Midlands' pioneering developments in transport and technology.
It is hosted at Coventry Transport Museum, home to the world's largest collection of British Road Transport, including the three fastest cars on the planet.
Digital experiences
While the physical Our Future Moves exhibition was available until 31 October 2021, Culture Coventry is hosting an online exhibition.
This forward-thinking online exhibition goes into even more detail on the breakthrough technologies which form part of Coventry, Warwickshire and the West Midlands' past, present and future.

Coventry Very Light Rail
Coventry Very Light Rail (CVLR) is a public transport project being led by Coventry City Council with the aim of providing Coventry with affordable urban rail. It involves the development of a new, lightweight vehicle and an innovative shallow track form, which will ensure this new mode of transport is affordable for small to medium-sized towns and cities such as Coventry.
