Opening times

The park is open to visitors all year round, 24 hours a day.

Offices and sporting facilities are open all year round excluding Christmas week. Sporting facilities may be closed if weather conditions dictate, please if you are unsure phone ahead.

Visitor Centre

Open 9am - 4pm (except Christmas week). Toilet facilities 8.45am until 4.30pm. (except Christmas week)

Within the Visitor Centre we have a meeting/events room which is available to hire for meetings, birthday parties, organised classes etc.

Changing rooms are available for hire at the park during our office opening hours.

Tennis and Bowls

Open 9am to 4.30pm (except Christmas week). Bowls green is open April - September, during which bookings are between 9am - 4pm. Last bookings and equipment hire for tennis and crazy golf is 3.30pm. All equipment to be returned to the Tennis and Bowls office by 4.30pm. Toilet facilities until 8.45am - 4.30pm. (except Christmas Week).

How to get here 

By rail

Coventry Station, (London to Birmingham Line). 10 minutes walk along Warwick Road.

By road

Coventry Ring Road, exit at Junction 6. Follow Warwick Road (A429).

By bus

• via Kenilworth Road - 16, 49, 18A, 87, Park & Ride south, U17, X17.
• via Warwick Road - 9, 9A, 49, 539.

Parking

Car park charges apply at all three car parks, Kenilworth Road [#kenilworthroad], Leamington Road [#leamingtonroad] and Coat of Arms Bridge Road [#coatofarmsbridgeroad].

All visitors will receive the first 3 hours of parking free.

Car park opening hours

Car park opening times are 6am to 10pm.

At times, a change to the car park hours may be required. This will be displayed on entry to the park.

For Blue Badge holders the above tariff applies.

Car parks

There are three car parks available:

• Kenilworth Road [#kenilworthroad] (Park and Ride [http://www.coventry.gov.uk/parkandride]). This is our largest car park.
• Leamington Road [#leamingtonroad]
• Coat of Arms Bridge Road [#coatofarmsbridgeroad]

This is our largest car park with approximately 370 spaces.

It is an ANPR-operated, barrier pay on foot system. All payments made at the end of stay.

How to pay

There are 3 payment stations situated in the main car park for payment before exit. The payment stations are cashless payment only. Contactless payment is accepted.

• Within the free period no ticket validation required. Proceed to exit.
• Where payment is required, follow the instructions on the pay station screen.
• Park and Ride users, scan the original ticket followed by the discount ticket

Weekly pass

• First visit and expiry day, press for ticket at the entry
• Press weekly pass button on pay station and follow the instructions
• Scan weekly pass ticket to enter and exit
• Valid for Kenilworth Road car parks only

Leamington Road car park (CV3 6JD)

A Pay and Display system.

All visitors must display a ticket in their vehicle (including if only staying for the free period) on arrival.

How to pay

Cashless payment only. Contactless payment is accepted.

• Go to pay and display payment machine and follow instructions
• Select the required ticket stay period
• Display ticket (including if staying within the free period)

Your stay may be extended by revisiting the payment machine and the paying correct fee.

Weekly pass

• Select option at the payment machine
• Display your ticket in your vehicle window
• Valid for Leamington Road and Coat of Arms Bridge Road car parks only

Coat of Arms Bridge Road car park (CV3 6PY)

Safety in the park

The Earlsdon Neighbourhood Police Team deals with any crime or antisocial behaviour that might take place in and around the park. Foot and cycle patrols keep an eye on the park and you can report any crime or antisocial behaviour to the team on:

Police surgeries in the park

The Earlsdon Dedicated Neighbourhood Police Team holds regular police surgeries in the park.

They run between 11am - 12noon.

Accessibility at the park

The park is wheelchair user accessible.

Disabled parking bays are available at Kenilworth Road and Leamington Road car parks.

Members of the public are not routinely permitted to bring a vehicle onto the park. However where access to the education room to attend an event or a private booking is necessary, Blue Badge holders can contact the Visitor Centre on 024 76 97 7770 to discuss their requirements.

Please note that vehicle access onto the War Memorial park is by prior arrangement only. Should we receive less than 24 hours notice we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.
