In June, the Coventry Health Determinants Research Collaboration hosted its latest ‘So What?’ club of the year.
We were pleased to welcome 23 attendees from across various HDRCs, local authorities (LAs), Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises (VCSEs) and a variety of directorates from across Coventry City Council.
June's HDRC 'So What?' Club was hosted by Cameron Ley – Research Fellow in Evidence Synthesis for the HDRC and Ting Cao – Digital Navigator within the Council's Adult Social Care Team. Ting Cao presented a systematic review investigating older adults' experiences with using wearable devices. There was a discussion on the paper, its findings and critical appraisal of the review methods before discussing how they apply to Coventry.
All are welcome to join, and we aim to ensure that future sessions focus on the wider determinants of health and are relevant to different service areas.
