We attended the HDRC Annual 2025 Event in Leeds and presented our poster abstract to highlight our achievements and innovative projects.

Representing Coventry HDRC at the HDRC Annual 2025 Event in Leeds were Lauren Bell (Research Fellow – Qualitative and Mixed Methods), Cameron Ley (Research Fellow – Evidence Synthesis) and Valerie De Souza (Director of Coventry HDRC and Consultant in Public Health), from left to right. All 30 HDRCs across the UK were invited to share information on:

  • What research looks like in the local authority and what is possible

  • Community Research

  • Research in a local authority context

  • Supporting local authority colleagues developing research skills.

All HDRC’s attending the conference were further asked to submit a poster to highlight their achievements, any innovative projects they have been involved in, achieving HDRC goals, developing priority areas, and any progress against changing practice within a local authority.
