Sooooo boring. Read half of the book then gave up. The plot is confusing
To be honest I was expecting more of this book, it wasn’t that bad but it was a bit boring which didn’t make me want to read it. I didn’t really understand what was happening. Overall it wasn’t so bad but not my favourite.
Cool, GRATE BOOK!!
This book was amazing. Although the plot was slow at first as the book went on it began to become more intresting. The characters were all so lovable and funny adding so much joy to the book. I really love
Derin as she was one of my favourite charachters, her being so sweet and humble warmed my heart so much. The book was wonderfull and really helped me raise awareness of sickle cell as i wouldnt know what that disease was if not from this book.
Teaching me how it effects life not just for the person with sickle cell but the people around them to. I have also learnt a lot medically , learning the difference between sickle cell traits and actually carrying sickle cell. It makes me want to donate blood for the cause later on in the future!
I love how so many characters were involved with the downfall of Derins wedding it kept me on my toes trying to guess the killer. And the plot twist at the end was shocking as i could of never guessed who it would be. Another thing i liked about this book is how it relates to me. Lara wanting to study criminology makes me love this book more as we both have the same type of love for true crime and justice. Seeing the characters are also from Yuraba and having a traditonal wedding makes me so excited to see when they speak in their native tounge. Overall this book was definitely one of my favourites including true crime, romance and a well thought out mc. I think more people could really enjoy this book if they got past the slow start and are able to understand the stunning plot. Such a facinating story, this book has my vote!
