I really enjoyed "Running My Own Race" because it's well written. The main character, Kofi, loves running and has big dreams, but he also has to deal with school, friends, and family pressure. You can really tell how determned he is and how much he cares about following his own path.

It's set mostly at Kofi's school and in his community, which shows what it's like trying to fit in, make friends and face challenges like bullying, or being judged. It makes the story feel realistic and relatable.

The book explores themes like courage, friendship and staying true to yourself. It's inspiring and shows that even when things are tough, you can keep going and achieve your goals.

in my opinion i really think running my own race is a really good book because with myself being a year 7 on the first day i didnt know where i was gping . it also links to me because im very sporty but for someone who isnt sporty might not like this book . i think out of 10 i would rate this book a 9 and i hope this book will win. i also think the theme is really interesting there is a lot of bullying because kofis rival on the track is racist to him. his family are reaLLY supportive and they want him to achieve his dream. unlike the other kids kofi comes from qite an un wealthy backround where as all the other kids are quite wealthy and has qite a lot of money
