Community Programme

The Community Programme comprises non-accredited tailored learning opportunities that aim to meet one or more of 7 purposes: 1) Engaging and/or building confidence; 2) Preparation for further learning; 3) Preparation for employment; 4) Improving essential skills (English, ESOL, maths, digital); 5) Equipping parents/carers to support children’s learning; Health and well-being; 6) Developing stronger communities.mmunities.

£4.50 per hour (minimum £10.00 fee applies)

English, maths, digital, English language acquisition (ESOL), British Sign Language and braille, family learning and work readiness skills

Free of charge

GoCV+ member rate

£1.05 per hour (minimum £10.00 fee applies)

Not eligible for WMCA/DfE funding

£10.30 per hour

Leisure Programme*:

The Leisure Programme comprises non-accredited learning opportunities that do not aim to meet one or more of the 7 purposes for learning listed in the above section. Rather, courses are designed to meet identified needs around ‘learning for learning’s sake’. The hourly rates are higher as these courses are not funded by central/devolved government.
