We are carrying out a review of all properties in the non domestic rating list to assess which business rates multiplier the 2026 to 2027 business rates charge should be calculated on.

In the Autumn Statement, 27 November 2025, the Government announced that there will be 5 business rates multipliers from 1 April 2026:

Why have I been sent this letter?

We need you to complete the online form using the weblink or QR code provided in the letter so that we can calculate you 2026 to 2027 business rates charge correctly.   

What happens if I don't complete the online form?

Your 2026 to 2027 business rates charge will automatically be calculated on the standard multiplier depending on your Rateable Value.

I have already informed the council that I am no longer responsible for business rates at the property address. Do I still need to complete the online form?

No, please ignore the email or letter you have received.

Who are Civica?
