The Council launched its draft Climate Change Strategy in February 2023 for public consultation, which ran until early July. Tackling the causes and consequences of climate change is one of the key priorities of the Council’s One Coventry Plan.
It is important to the Council that we understand the views of residents, businesses and organisations across the city regarding issues related to climate change and sustainability to help shape the Strategy.
The Council have a role of leader and enabler when it comes to taking action on climate change and creating a more sustainable future for our city, but we can’t do it alone and need to take communities with us on this journey. Therefore, we are very grateful for everyone that took the time to engage and comment on the draft Strategy and will be updating the final version to reflect the feedback received
