Counter Terrorism
The UK Government's counter-terrorism strategy, known as CONTEST, is built around 4 strands: Prevent, Pursue, Protect and Prepare.
Collectively, these four pillars aim to reduce the risk from terrorism, strengthen the UK's resilience, and minimise the impact of an attack should one occur, helping people, places and communities stay safe and recover effectively.
