Help more people get online in Coventry
Your business can make a real difference in Coventry by helping more people access the digital world.
Right now, 1 in 6 residents face barriers to getting online. Many don’t have access to a device at all. At the same time, businesses like yours often have unused tech that could be given a second life. By working with us, you can turn old devices into real opportunities for local people to learn, work, connect and thrive.
Donate your unused tech
If you have laptops, tablets or smartphones you no longer need, you can donate them to the #CovConnects Device Bank.
We’ll handle the process from start to finish, securely and responsibly, so you can focus on your day-to-day work.
Partner with us
You can also work with us in other ways, including:

How donating works
We’ve made the donation process simple and secure:
- You tell us what devices you have available
- We confirm what can be reused
- We collect your devices securely
- Each device is checked and refurbished
- Usable devices are passed to trusted local partners
- Anything unsuitable is responsibly recycled
Keeping your data safe
We know data security is critical for your business.
All donated devices are:
- Fully wiped before reuse
- Handled through secure systems
- Processed in line with recognised security standards
We can offer different levels of data erasure depending on your needs, including enhanced options for higher-risk environments.
Where your devices go
Your donated devices stay local and support people in Coventry through trusted partners, including:
- Community and voluntary organisations

- Employment and training services
- Health and NHS services

Devices are never given out on their own—they’re paired with support, training and connectivity to create lasting impact.

A parent of a young carer in Coventry, had this to say about their refurbished laptop:
"We are so appreciative of you sorting out the laptop and grateful of whoever or company donated."
"This laptop made a huge difference to my daughter’s daily school work especially during these stressful weeks with revisions for mock GCSE exams and I am sure it will continue be the pivotal tool for the upcoming weeks till GCSE .. it has provided my daughter with easy access to online revision materials and also we are able to have tutor sessions via Teams!! It’s my daughter’s first laptop and she has been doing research whether that’s GCSE related or just something she is interested in, being creative… Before this laptop, my daughter would have to share my work laptop with some advanced school work that phone doesn’t support well."
"This laptop enables my daughter organising her work or tasks independently and offers great comfort."
