New grant aid opportunity for Voluntary and Community Sector organisations to create digital hubs

Coventry City Council's Skills, Employment and Adult Education Service announced a new grant aid opportunity, the Voluntary Sector Community Space Improvements Scheme.

The Scheme will support organisations to deliver new Capital projects to improve community facilities with a focus on provision of IT facilities and digital connectivity for the purpose of skills and employability support. This will be through improving existing and/or developing new IT facilities and digital connectivity for skills and employability support which targets economically inactive residents, which can include people not currently engaged in education, training or work or becoming disengaged. The grant aid will be available as part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) provision in Coventry for 2024/25.

Part of the delivery of the scheme will be to work collaboratively with #CovConnects, the Council's digital inclusion initiative around reducing digital inequalities.

Deadline for applications is 10 May 2024.

To apply, visit the Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Joint E-Tendering System (CSW - JETS).
