#CovConnects Device Bank collection guidance

It is important that you read and take note of the following information which will help you when collecting your devices on your booked collection date:

  • Devices can only be collected on Thursdays or Fridays between 10am and 3pm.
  • You must arrive within your selected 15-minute time slot as engineers will be ready to handover the devices promptly.
  • The named contact attending the collection slot must arrive in private transportation to safely transport the devices back to the agreed venue. Acceptable transport includes your own/company car. Unacceptable forms of transportation include taxi (including pre-booked), buses or trains.
  • We ask that you park your vehicle on St Mary's Street whilst attending your device collection timeslot.
  • Once you have parked, go into the Council House reception point and have ready to present the following:
    • Your booking confirmation email including reference number
    • One form of identification as proof of identity, such as a driving license or passport.
    • Confirmation of the vehicle registration that you provided on your online booking and have arrived in to collect the devices. Please note: Collections will be refused if arriving by any other method than a car.
  • The engineer will meet you within your allocated time slot to hand over the devices.

Can we help with anything else?

  • If for any reason you are unable to attend a collection timeslot in a vehicle, please contact the team at covconnectsdigital@coventry.gov.uk. This is important as all collections without a vehicle will be refused.
  • Please understand that collection times are limited, if you must cancel your collection, we respectfully request that you provide us with minimum 48 hours' notice by emailing the team at covconnectsdigital@coventry.gov.uk
