The Coventry Sport Team is based in the Council and delivers everything from community projects in hard-to-reach areas and schools city-wide to international sporting events.

In recent months, Coventry Sport has delivered events, projects, competitions and initiatives for the residents of Coventry as well as visitors to the city, including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, International Children’s Games, Rugby League World Cup, Go Parks: Active Schools Challenges, The Arnold Clark Cup and ‘Go’ Priority Place projects.

Coventry Sport continues to plan new events and opportunities for 2024 to get residents of all ages and abilities active in the city with upcoming events including the Children's Mile, Go Parks: Active Schools Challenge 'Paris 2024 Special' and the return of Sports Fest. There will also be plenty of community activities from our ‘Go’ projects including Go Parks along with Commonwealth Active Communities activation in parks, streets and care homes.

Coventry Sport works with a number of partners around the city to deliver work to the highest standard possible, including sports clubs, groups, charities and organisations.
