Personal Development Course Outline:
An intervention ‘The Exploring Approach’ bespoke to the needs of the child/young person. Intervention delivered in our alternative provision (Sept 26), home, school, and/or community. Specialists in all areas of SEND to include Mental Health and Trauma, EBSA, Communication and Interaction, Social Emotional and High Anxiety Autism. No need too complex!
All sessions will include personalised areas of interest to build confidence (i.e. Sports, Arts, Performing Arts, Catering etc.) through learning. PLUS - All successful referrals will include a consultancy input for schools and the young person with no extra cost. This will include forward planning steps, needs considerations and how to meet these back in the classroom. The consultancy is delivered by the Director herself with 30 years of experience (including Headships) in SEND.
Added Value!
Approach Education also offers a Transitional TA to support the move back into education settings. This TA will have built trusted relationships with the child, enabling to support the strategies encapsulated and embedded to aid transfer back to the classroom successfully. Sessions will be tailored to meet the needs of the child/young person in line with the agreed outcomes for all. - Course Modules

Director has vast experience in SEND (including Headships and Senco) and she currently offers a consultancy service for schools, LAs, parents and pupils. All delivery staff are overseen by the Director and guided on a personal approach to empower the young person to overcome barriers to the classroom.
Advisory Board is attached to Approach Education who may offer further advice by experts within their field to ensure all pupils needs are catered for. All vocational staff are trained within their field to ensure quality delivery. - Delivery Area
