A one-day Level 1 programme using a 50/50 theory and practical model. Learners build motor-vehicle knowledge, workshop skills, confidence, communication and employability, with embedded PSHE/SEMH support. Learners go go-karting at the end of every session as a reward for engagement, attendance and positive behaviour.

Admissions Criteria
For learners aged 14+ who benefit from practical vocational learning outside mainstream education. Referrals are reviewed individually to confirm suitability, safe support and readiness to follow workshop and track rules.
Staff Experience
Delivered by experienced TeamSport instructors with vocational and practical expertise. The wider team has experience across education, SEND, SEMH, safeguarding, behaviour support, youth work, vocational training and employability.
Delivery Area
Classroom, live workshop and go-karting track at TeamSport Coventry, including practical work on go-karts.
Programme length
Full academic year or Fast Track. Both routes require the guided learning hours and assessments to be completed. Fast Track covers the three mandatory units in at least 20 sessions, subject to suitability and an agreed plan.
