- Overview
-
This course is designed to support learners in developing confidence and creativity through the exploration of mixed media techniques with an illustrative focus. Combining materials such as watercolour, ink, collage, and drawing media, participants will experiment with layered approaches to create expressive and dynamic artwork.
Delivered within a structured and supportive environment, the course introduces key principles of composition, texture, and visual storytelling. Tutor-led activities encourage learners to take creative risks, build technical skills, and develop their own distinctive artistic style. - Course level and content

Suitable for beginners and those with more experience, this course places emphasis on personal expression and creative confidence. By the end of the course, learners will have produced a range of mixed media pieces and gained a greater sense of assurance in their artistic decision-making and individual approach.
