Overview
This course offers a gentle and creative exploration of autumn through the depiction of woodland creatures, combining artistic development with a focus on personal wellbeing. Inspired by seasonal wildlife such as foxes, owls, hedgehogs, and squirrels, learners will create expressive watercolour studies that capture both character and atmosphere.
Delivered in a structured and supportive setting, the course introduces a range of watercolour techniques, including layering, texture, and colour blending, to help bring subjects to life. Tutor-led activities guide learners in developing confidence in observation, composition, and the use of colour, while encouraging a mindful and relaxed approach to painting.

ENGAGING WITH YOUR PERSONAL LEARNING RECORD (PLR) PAPERWORK
All community learning courses require learners to engage with Personal Learning Record (PLR) paperwork. At the beginning of the course, you will be supported in setting personal learning aims, which will guide your development over the duration of the programme. Your tutor will assess your progress at key points—at the start, mid-point, and conclusion of the course—providing written feedback to help document your learning and achievements.
