- Overview
-
Inspired by the rich tones and textures of autumn, this course offers an opportunity to further develop acrylic painting skills in a structured and supportive learning environment. Designed for learners with some prior experience, it builds upon fundamental techniques while encouraging greater confidence and creative exploration.
Through a series of guided, tutor-led sessions, participants will explore colour mixing, layering, brush techniques, and composition, with a focus on capturing the warmth and atmosphere of the season. Emphasis is placed on developing control of acrylic materials and understanding how to use colour and texture to create depth and interest.
The course supports both technical progression and individual expression, providing a balance of structured learning and experimentation. By the end of the course, learners will have strengthened their skills, expanded their creative approach, and produced a selection of autumn-inspired artworks. - Course level and content
