Nulogic delivers high-quality outcome-focused education for children and young people, enabling them to re-engage, rebuild confidence and progress towards meaningful adult lives. We combine specialist educational expertise with integrated therapeutic practice to remove barriers to learning, promote independence and secure measurable progress. Most importantly, children are at the heart of all that we do and excellence is never compromised.
We are a current and valued Tier 1 Vocational Provider within Coventry Alternative Provision and have an established, productive working relationship with the CAP team.
The 14–16 Pathway with Purpose directly addresses Coventry’s ambition to prevent NEET outcomes and ensure all young people progress to positive post-16 destinations. Our programme integrates vocational learning, CEIAG, therapeutic wellbeing support and early college experience into a coherent, structured offer that is deliverable from September 2026.
Course Modules
Young people receive structured vocational learning across one of Nulogic’s established pathways. Provision is delivered in small groups of no more than eight students, enabling individualised support, high engagement and a genuine sense of progress and belonging.
Vocational Pathways Available
Schools and Coventry CAP confirm which pathway or pathways to commission prior to each
academic year start. Pathways include:
• Construction
• Hair and Beauty
• Media
Accredited Qualifications
All students work towards a nationally recognised vocational qualification within their chosen pathway. Qualifications are selected for their genuine currency with post-16 providers and employers, and are achievable within the two-day-per-week model across one or two academic years (dependent on school/LA preference). These include BTEC Introductory qualifications, ASDAN short courses and industry-recognised awards, such as City and Guilds.
Functional Skills — English and Maths
Tailored English and Maths is embedded into each teaching day and is not delivered as a separate ‘bolt-on’. Learning is contextualised within vocational content to maximise engagement and real-world application. Students work towards Functional Skills qualifications at Entry Level 3, Level 1 or Level 2 as appropriate to their starting point.
Baseline assessments at induction determine individual targets.
CEIAG is embedded throughout the programme and is not limited to a discrete set of sessions. Every vocational learning day is an opportunity to build career awareness, deepen self-knowledge and move the young person closer to a confident, informed post-16 choice.
One-to-One Careers Guidance and Pathway Planning
Each young person receives a minimum of three individual careers guidance sessions across the academic year: at induction, at mid-year, and in preparation for post-16 transition. These sessions are delivered by a qualified CEIAG practitioner and result in a personalised Pathway
Plan that is shared with the school and the young person’s family. The plan is reviewed and updated at each session.
College and Apprenticeship Application Support
From Year 11, students receive structured support with college and apprenticeship
applications. This includes:
• CV writing, personal statement development and review
• Mock interview preparation and practice
• Understanding apprenticeship routes, T Levels and vocational progression pathways
• Completing and submitting college applications with guided support from the Nulogic team
