Future Ready
Course Outline
Future Ready is a vocational engagement and progression programme designed for learners aged 14–16 who are disengaged from education, at risk of becoming NEET, experiencing attendance difficulties, have SEND or SEMH needs, or require an alternative pathway to achieve positive outcomes.

Future Ready combines vocational learning, employability, careers education, mentoring, wellbeing support and transition planning to support learners into positive post-16 destinations.

The programme is designed around Coventry’s Pathway with Purpose framework and integrates:
•Vocational and Academic Learning
• Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG)
• Wellbeing, Mentoring and Therapeutic Support
• Early College Experience and Transition

This programme is suitable for learners who:

• Are at risk of becoming NEET
• Are disengaged from mainstream education
• Have SEND or SEMH needs
• Require a practical vocational pathway
• Need support with confidence, motivation or attendance
• Would benefit from small group learning
