Staff Experience
Fresh Pathways Provision is delivered by experienced practitioners with a strong background in supporting young people with complex social, emotional, and educational needs, including anxiety, low attendance, and disengagement from learning. A key strength of our staff team is the ability to build strong, trusting, and consistent relationships with young people. We recognise that positive relationships are essential to engagement, behaviour change, and long-term outcomes. Staff use a relational and trauma-informed approach to create safe, supportive environments where young people feel heard, respected, and valued. Our team has extensive experience in youth work, mentoring, and behaviour support, working closely with schools, families, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes. We are skilled in de-escalation, emotional regulation support, and motivating young people who are reluctant to engage in education. We also have experience supporting young people with SEMH needs, neurodivergence, low self-esteem, and school avoidance, adapting our approach to meet individual needs and barriers. In addition, staff include those with sports coaching and personal training experience, using physical activity as a tool to build confidence, teamwork, resilience, and engagement. All staff are fully trained in safeguarding and follow robust procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants. Overall, our ability to build strong, positive relationships is central to our success, enabling us to support young people effectively and achieve meaningful, sustained improvements in attendance, wellbeing, and behaviour.
