Course Outline
Our Life Skills, Independence & Confidence Programme is designed to help young people develop the practical and personal skills needed to navigate everyday life with greater confidence and independence.
Learners explore areas such as communication, decision-making, problem-solving, personal organisation, budgeting, travel training, healthy living and emotional wellbeing. Activities are adapted to individual needs and provide opportunities to develop confidence in real-world situations.
The programme encourages young people to set personal goals, recognise their strengths and build the resilience needed to overcome challenges, preparing them for future education, employment and independent living.

Suitable for pupils requiring SEMH support, sensory regulation, confidence building, structured movement or alternative provision pathways.
Staff Experience
Qualified mentors and youth practitioners trained in SEMH, trauma‑informed practice, safeguarding, water safety and therapeutic movement.
