Relationship-led 1:1 mentoring designed around the individual young person. Consistent mentoring supports young people to build trusted relationships, reconnect with education, develop confidence and communication, establish positive routines and work towards their personal and educational goals. Mentoring can be integrated with education, enrichment and practical experiences to create a programme that feels relevant to the young person.

Admissions Criteria
Adapt Ed supports young people aged 10–18. Each referral is considered individually around the young person's circumstances, needs, risks and intended outcomes.
Staff Experience
Experienced 1:1 Mentors supported by Qualified Teachers and Adapt Ed's safeguarding and operational team.
Delivery Area
Suitable learning environments, community settings and other agreed locations according to the young person's programme and risk assessment.

Consistency is central to the Adapt Ed model. Mentoring can form part of a complete personalised placement alongside qualified teaching, English and maths, qualifications, enrichment and personal development. Daily session reports provide caregivers and relevant professionals with information about engagement, activities and progress.
