Course aim:
This course is a one day look at all aspects of first aid. It covers all basic emergency first aid. There are no refresher courses for first aid so candidates will need to complete this one-day course every three years.
Course outcomes:
- Understand the principles of first aid
- Know how to deal with various health emergencies
- Know the principles of CPR and Rescue Breaths
- Understand your legal responsibilities in reporting and recording accidents at work
- Carry out the safety checks and safety automated external defibrillation on a simulation patient on cardiac rest
