It is important for staff to have up-to-date knowledge of medicines handling and administration in order to remain confident and competent in the workplace and to reduce the likelihood of medicines errors. This is a theory-based course and should be supported with work-based competency assessments.

- Using a competency assessment tool
- Competency assessment scenarios & practice video
- Exercises & activities to assess the competence of recording

- Action planning
- Detailed question and answer session

- 1 day (2 x 3 hour sessions) online via Zoom or 1 day classroom based
