Course outcomes:
- Recognise an adult/child who potentially is in need of safeguarding and know how to take action
- Identify ways in which to reduce the likelihood of abuse
- Understand dignity and respect when working with individuals
- Have knowledge of policy, procedures and legislation that supports the safeguarding of adults and children
- Understand what safeguarding is and their role in safeguarding
- Understand how to make a difference to people by making safeguarding personal
- Course length
- 2 x 3hr online sessions on consecutive days via Zoom or 1 day classroom based
