Hi, I’m Cllr David Welsh, Cabinet Member for Housing and Communities.

And I’m here today to talk about the census.

21^st March is Census Day – and it’s really really important that people take part. Fill out the survey. It only takes ten minutes and it’s really really important because it’s about our city, it’s about our future and it’s about where we go from here.

So the census gives us a snapshot of where we are now but it covers areas that are really really important. It’s about housing, it’s about transport, it’s about education, it’s about how our city goes.
