I'm Bushra Arshad. I'm a senior practitioner based in one of our area teams in central and I've worked for Coventry for over six years now.

Well, I think I'm kind of proof really aren't I, because I've started that journey right at the start as a Student Social Worker all the way to where I am now. I obviously enjoy working for Coventry I'm very committed to work for Coventry and I think the reason I've stayed here for so long is because of all the opportunities that are available to me and I think the training programmes that we have here at Coventry are amazing. There's always a wide range of training available to us.

Just, you know, if you do feel like you want a challenge or you want to change there is always opportunities to progress that. I have moved around different teams and things and I've done that because, um, it's to better my own learning really um so I think there's always opportunities to do that. And I also think in Coventry you'll never get bored there's always something to do like it's such a diverse city like and you just learned so much and also obviously the teams that I've worked in and I think that's what's kept me here for as long as I have like you know it's kind of a bit like your little work family and so it's really important that you feel, um, settled and for me I've always felt really settled in Coventry I think there's a lot of opportunity in Coventry to progress and if you do want to go up the career ladder people are always supporting you to do that.
