Liz Gaulton: “So firstly a big thank you for everybody in the city who's following the national restrictions at the moment and staying home as much as possible. This really is an opportunity to drive down covered rates within Coventry and one of the best ways of doing that is to have a test if you have symptoms.

“We have lots of places in the city where you can get a test. We're at Whitefriars car park today in the city centre where you can book online and then walk through and have a test. There's also places in Foleshill and on the Warwick University site and we also have the centre in Broad Street, city centre which you can drive through and at the Ricoh Arena. So please if you have symptoms of Covid, however mild, please do get a test. It's easy to book online or just put your search Covid test near me or go on or ring at 119 and book a test. Waiting times for tests are now much lower than they were. So, you will be tested that day or the day after and you're getting your results back within 24 hours. So, let's all do our part in really driving down Covid rates in the city. Please stay at home wherever you can and book a test if you have symptoms, however mild.”
