Langar Aid is now part of Coventry Food Network and is a Household Support Fund Food Parcel Provider.
This service is for:
- People & families on a low income who are struggling to buy food.
- Struggling with the current cost-of-living crisis.
- Universal credit/benefits delay
To register a food parcel, please use the link below: https://myaccount.coventry.gov.uk/en/service/community_support_form. When completing the application, select “Langar Aid” as the provider.
We provide emergency food parcels for international students, families, and individuals experiencing homelessness in temporary accommodation. We offer takeaway meals for the homeless every night.
We prefer referrals from caseworkers or support workers and accept referrals from councils, schools, similar organizations, hospitals, and the police.
To refer someone, please email us with their name, address, and telephone number, and we will contact them directly.
- Opening times

Household Support Fund Food Parcels can be collected on Thursdays, 2.00 pm - 3.00 pm
- Referral Cut-off: Wednesday, 5 pm
- Collection Day: Thursday, 2 pm - 3 pm
- We will require proof of ID
- Up to 3 food parcels received within 6months, with at least 7 days between collections.
- After 3 parcels, clients will be referred to their local social supermarket.
- If you require an Asian Food Parcel, simply write “Asian” in the dietary requirement section
Collection Point: Langar Aid House, 6 Doe Bank, CV1 3AR
This is a 7 days a week project. Deliveries are done daily accordingly.
