Following the launch of new statutory guidance, speakers from the Forced Marriage Unit were invited to deliver a training session at the Adult Safeguarding Practice Forum on 7/7/22 and covered the following learning objectives:
- Identify the drivers of forced marriage
- Identify the indicators that someone is at risk
- Learn how to make a referral for a person at risk of forced marriage
- Understand the role of the FMU and other key agencies
