Good luck to all those receiving their A level results! - Video and audio transcripts

Hi I'm outside one of our city schools Sidney Stringer, to send you all a warm congratulatory  

message today because today is the day that  you get your A level and other exam results. I  

know talking to head teachers and parents how  hard you've worked and I know the challenges  

that you have faced. For example how Covid has  disrupted your education and also I know that  

some of you are facing real real hardships  in your family situation. So, for those of you  

who've got what you wanted, that's fantastic  and I hope you go on to succeed in whatever  

you may choose to do. For those of you who perhaps  haven't got the results that you were hoping for  

you know there are other options. It's not the  end of the world, talk to your family, talk to  

your head teachers. You may want to for example  consider apprenticeships, go to the Job Shop, find  

out what's around, find out what is available for  you to progress to because there are many many  

options for our young people and that's what we  want. For you to succeed in your future. Thank you.
