Course Aim

The objective of this training is to help attendees understand the different causes and conditions of sensory impairment and dual sensory loss plus the impact this can have on an individual and their needs 

Course Outcomes

• Define and learn about hearing loss, visual loss and deafblindness

• Discuss the causes, implications and identify individual needs

• Understand communication issues

• Discuss movement, orientation and mobility issues

• Discuss how to improve accessibility

• Understand legislation and where to go for further support or help
