Course details

This half day course examines issues surrounding the Mental Capacity Act and the use of the internet and social media.

Course outcomes:

  • Understand how the Mental Capacity Act applies to the use of the internet and social media
  • Consider the framework to assess mental capacity to use the internet and social media
  • Illustrate practical application of legislation and case law in this area
