Overview
This Maths Functional Skills course is specifically designed for learners with limited English fluency. We cover the same material as in our standard Functional Skills classes, but with a focus on the language required to access the exams.
The course will help you to develop your maths skills so you can feel more confident in everyday situations. The course leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
Course level and content
There are no formal academic requirements. However, an ability to understand and communicate in English at an Entry 1 level is required.
What do you need?
We recommend that you bring a folder to store your work, some paper and a pen.
