- Overview
- Tap dancing is an exciting form of dance performed to music. Dancers wear specific tap shoes equipped with metal taps to create a tapping sound when in contact with the floor. Dancers use their feet like drums to create rhythmic patterns and timely beats. Tap dancing develops coordination, rhythm and style. It’s also a great way to improve stamina and fitness, while learning routines as part of a group.
