Mixed media art involves mixing different creative mediums to create work that incorporates two or more art forms. For example, you can add sculpture to your painting, or draw on top of photography prints. Mixed media is all about breaking the boundaries between different art forms.
For this course, you will be working towards a ‘final piece’. During the weeks, you will work to develop an initial idea, keeping sketches and sample pieces along with reference materials and research. At the end of the course, your portfolio along with your final piece of art will be internally moderated, then the moderation will be checked by an external moderator for consistency. You will then be issued with a certificate and eligible to enrol on the Entry Level 3, or Level 1. - Course level and content
