- Overview
- During the course you will be introduced to and learn about Early Years Settings; how they are managed and the role of the practitioner within the setting, their roles and responsibilities. You will also look at how children learn through play and child development and the value of it.
- Course level and content
- This a Level 1 course. You must have Entry Level English and or Maths to study this course. As well as the passion and desire to work with babies and young children in the Education sector.
- What do you need?

You need access to a computer/laptop in order to word process work and access our online platform for work submissions.
You will need to come equipt to class with a notepad and pen. - What can I do next?
- This course will give you the basic knowledge and understanding of Early Years Settings, we then offer progression routes to Level 2 and Level 3 if suitable. Similarly, we offer other courses relevant such as Safeguarding, Specific Learning Difficutlies, Neuroscience, Equality and Diversity and Mental Health. You could go into volunteering in nurseries also. Information and Guidance will be given to you at the end of your course.
