- This qualification will develop your knowledge and understanding of the teaching and learning environment in a school setting. This course will help you to develop your understanding of schools as organisations, how to keep children and young people healthy, safe, and well, how to communicate with children, young people, and adults.
- Course level and content
- This a Level 1 course. You must have Entry Level English and or Maths to study this course. As well as the passion and desire to work with children in the Education sector.
- What do you need?

You need access to a computer/laptop in order to word process work and access our online platform for work submissions.
You will need to come equipt to class with a notepad and pen. - What can I do next?
- This course will give you the basic knowledge and understanding of School settings, we then offer progression routes to Level 2 and Level 3 if suitable to become a Teaching Assistant. Similarly, we offer other courses relevant such as Safeguarding, Specific Learning Difficutlies, Neuroscience, Equality and Diversity and Mental Health. You could go into volunteering in schools also. Information and Guidance will be given to you at the end of your course.
