- The purpose of this qualification is to increase learner’s knowledge and awareness of children and young people’s mental health, the impact of mental health, support available and strategies to support.?This qualification is suitable for anyone looking to increase their knowledge of children and young people’s mental health, working in early year and school settings and planning to work in the childcare sector.??
- Course level and content
- This is a Level 2 course. You must have Level 1 English and or Maths to study this course. It also would be advisory for you to have a baseline knowledge of Early Years/School settings and be passionate about working with children.
- What do you need?

You need to have access to a laptop/computer/word processor to access our online platform for work submissions.
You will need to come equipt to class with a notepad and pen. - What can I do next?
- This course will give you a good knowledge and understanding of Mental Health, we then offer progression routes into Level 1, 2 and 3 Early Years and TA. Similarly, we offer other courses relevant such as Safeguarding, Specific Learning Difficutlies, Neuroscience and Equality and Diversity. You could also look to get involved with volunteering. All information and guidance will be given to you at the end of your course.
