Overview
This community learning course is a holistic class designed to build confidence and self-esteem through learning beginner Spanish. This course is for complete beginners and will develop transferable skills for life and work in a safe and inclusive space.
Course level and content
You will develop basic communication skills in Spanish, but the main focus will be to develop positive self-belief and enhance overall confidence and self-esteem.
You will learn to
Identify personal strengths
Set personal goals and identify steps to achieve them
Understand and use positive body language
Using Spanish you will be learn to
Exchange greetings
Introduce yourself
Talk about friends, family and self
What do you need?
You will not require any materials for this course but paper, pens and a ring binder will be useful to keep all your notes and handouts.
All community learning courses require learners to engage with a Personal Learning Record ( PLR) . At the start of the course, you will record and update your learning aims with the support of your tutor. During the duration of the course your tutor will assess your learning and provide written feedback and document your progression.

You will be able to enrol on further Spanish courses (leisure) or any other Coventry Adult Education courses to help you towards to your goals.
