Overview
This upcoming three-week course is designed for adults who want to start gardening or develop their skills without spending a fortune. Ideal for beginners and those with limited space or resources, the course offers a practical and friendly introduction to affordable, sustainable gardening. You will also make and take home a hanging basket!

ENGAGING WITH YOUR PERSONAL LEARNING RECORD (PLR) PAPERWORK
All community learning courses require learners to engage with Personal Learning Record (PLR) paperwork. At the beginning of the course, you will be supported in setting personal learning aims, which will guide your development over the duration of the programme. Your tutor will assess your progress at key points—at the start, mid-point, and conclusion of the course—providing written feedback to help document your learning and achievements.
Course level and content
The sessions are interactive and supportive, with clear guidance, practical tips, and opportunities to share experiences and ask questions. By the end of the course, learners will feel confident and motivated to start or improve their own garden using budget-friendly methods that are both effective and environmentally conscious.

This course is suitable for those with little or no prior gardening experience and aims to make gardening accessible, enjoyable, and achievable for everyone.
